Okay, now we're talking. Here's a very nice tutorial you can use to homebrew your wii so you can get more out of your console. You can download 3rd party apps via Homebrew Browser and such. One of my favorite things is the Savegame Manager GX. You can download saves for games and then copy them to your Wii with this program. Example: I had beaten SSBB for my cousin a while ago and when I got it; I didn't want to redo all that work. So I just downloaded a complete save (just google SSBB complete save, etc.) and threw it into Save Game Manager GX, pretty straightforward. Are you convinced? You will need:
A Wii running 4.3 (you should probably be on 4.3 anyways), TV, SD Card, computer with SD card reader (or digital camera with SD card, etc.) internet connection.
Follow here. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
I won't tell you how to do anything illegal though.

I have a younger brother who's been running HC for months now, doing one thing and another.

Great! Do you know what he does with it?

I asked him: a DVD player, a better web browser, some programming project type stuff, and some emulation (SNES, etc.) He has DOSBox as well.
He's also been using the Wiimote as an HID for a computer and other such related nonsense.

I softmodded my Wii a while back and play games from a hard disk.

Faster load times!
It's funny cause when I play Mario Kart at my cousin's house I always think "Why does it take a few seconds to load? Oh, right.... disc not HD..."

One question, Can I play Gamecube games from my hard disk?
I'd like to play Mario Kart DD (because it is the best!), and I bought the disk second hand online, brought it home and the disk was really scratched....
